Face, outline, back, face-and-back: versatile 3D letters
To stage your 3D letters particularly effectively, we have many different LED lighting options. You have the choice: with an opaque full or partial paint finish, the relief letters become front-lit, contour-lit or rear-lit letters, just as you like.
With a front-lit letter, the light from the LED modules shines straight forwards. With the back-lit letters, your LED letters light the wall to the rear. And with a contour-lit or side-lit letter, the light shines to the side.
If you want a combination of several variants, that’s no problem for our technicians either. With a front-and-back-lit letter we can let a coloured acrylic shine back onto the wall and a white light forwards. Spoilt for choice…
3D letters indoor and outdoor
You can use the letters both indoors and outdoors. Outdoors in particular, they are Illuminated letters and they are very popular, because the LED modules produce a lot of light and so draw attention to your advertising lettering. If you're looking for illuminated letters for your outdoor LED advertising, you can choose between different profiles.
Our precise and fast high-tech machines
We manufacture 3D letters and have the right machine park on site here in Krefeld. Here we make and deliver the solid acrylic letters with LED throughout Germany and to neighbouring EU countries.
With the CNC milling machine from Harmuth we can mill all machinable materials for indoor use – quickly and at consistent quality. This machine can drill, engrave or finish as requested. That makes us very flexible when it comes to what you want.
With our letter bender we can realise individual wishes for indoors as well as outdoors. With this bending machine we form aluminium strips very precisely into the required shape.
You can choose between one-off production or series production.
Work by hand doesn't get neglected here either: installing the LEDs, painting and assembling the letters and – if you want – applying vinyl film to the mirrors are done by hand.

Yes, almost always. You need a building permit for almost every outdoor advertising installation. The application for a building permit is filed with the responsible building authority. In most cities, outdoor advertising installations larger than 1 m² have to be approved. If you need us to, we’re happy to handle the application for a building permit for you.
We recommend front-lit letters here; those are letters that light forwards. Back-lit letters are more discreet and light indirectly.
No, the letters don't have to be lit. In poor lighting conditions in the room, though, it makes sense to light the letters. Otherwise the advertising effect fizzles out. Please also think of autumn or winter. If the letters are mounted outside, it is almost always sensible to light them. Illuminated letters have a stronger effect.
There aren't really any maximum sizes; the letters can also be made from various individual parts if need be. The size limits are set more by the buildings the letters are to be placed on.
We can already offer unlit aluminium profile letters with a return depth of 30 mm. If it needs to be even smaller, from 20 or 25 mm, then only acrylic is possible.
Yes, we have a bending machine here on site and can fulfil many wishes with it.

We can't give a blanket answer, because we make the 3D letters individually. It always depends on which letters they are - serif typefaces, for example, are always more involved. And of course the size plays a role too.
The regular delivery time is about 7 to 15 working days. If it's particularly urgent, it can also be faster by arrangement.
