BlaueErdbeere is designing what is probably the world's largest legal-protection poster on the ARAG Tower.

At around 125 metres in height, the ARAG Tower is Düsseldorf’s tallest office building and, since 2001, a defining landmark of the cityscape. This year ARAG is celebrating its 90th company anniversary. The company is using this special occasion to draw attention to itself with a striking anniversary motif on the facade.
The ARAG Tower is not only Düsseldorf’s tallest building, but also an important symbol of innovation, sustainability and modern architecture. It shapes the city’s skyline and stands for future-oriented working environments as well as for the will to design and for progress.

The implementation:

The ARAG building is anything but ordinary. And anything but ordinary, too, is the 1,700 m² anniversary poster, with the law at the centre of the communication. In just four days BlaueErdbeere applied an XXL advertising film across well over 400 window panes to realise ARAG’s large advertising motif.
A special film was applied, produced in a triple-print process. It is laminated on the inside and visible on the outside, so the view outside stays almost unaltered – and that across an impressive 1,720 m² over 448 windows.
To keep to the tight window of only four days, the “power berry from the Lower Rhine” applied the vinyl film with eleven installers at once, stresses Niki Küch, managing director of BlaueErdbeere GmbH.

To mark its 90th birthday, ARAG is launching a comprehensive anniversary campaign. It opens with a nationwide poster campaign on more than 40,000 sites. Three eye-catching motifs convey, with a wink, the company’s long-standing expertise in legal expenses insurance. A particular eye-catcher in this campaign is also the ARAG Tower in Düsseldorf. Since the anniversary day, an oversized anniversary motif has adorned one side of the facade of the Düsseldorf landmark.
