IGW exhibition stand – Landgard

"Wild about nature": At the IGW, things got "beastly wild" in Landgard's flower hall!

Under the motto “Wild about nature”, a colourful animal world was brought to life from floral installations. BlaueErdbeere supplied mobile exhibition walls of tensioned textile walls, printed with graphic animal motifs, and colourful, hard-wearing, non-slip floor films, to turn the exhibition hall into an exotic animal jungle.

Across an area of over 2,000 m², visitors encountered giraffes, tigers, butterflies, snakes and crocodiles in the form of artfully arranged flower beds, floor graphics and wall prints. A full 146 linear metres of textile-covered exhibition walls were installed, achieving a high-quality, matt graphic look without distracting reflections. Another sustainable and creative highlight was cleverly planted Polaroid frames, which served as a popular photo motif and continue to be used after the fair. The flower hall was completed by a large suspended “Big Print motif”, with a length of 14 and a height of 6 metres.

Landgard, based in Straelen-Herongen, is a modern marketing producer cooperative owned 100 percent by the gardeners. With around 3,000 member businesses, Landgard is one of the largest European marketing organisations for flowers, plants, fruit and vegetables.

“We greatly appreciate the creativity and flexibility of BlaueErdbeere. This year, too, the implementation period was tight. Such a large trade-fair project needs close and smooth coordination of everyone involved. Many things have to go hand in hand and be carried out at the same time – real teamwork was called for here again! Especially during our trade-fair season, it is valuable to work with partners who are at the same time professional, pragmatic and passionate about the job. The trade-fair elements supplied by BlaueErdbeere have greatly enriched the flower hall. When choosing the materials and printing techniques, alongside creativity, topics such as fire protection, sustainability and cost efficiency were also in focus,” says Michael Hermes, Head of Marketing and Communication at Landgard.

With 300,000 visitors, 1,400 exhibitors from 60 countries and 113,000 square metres of exhibition grounds, the IGW in Berlin ranks nationwide among the trade fairs richest in tradition and among the best-known events in Germany. Founded in 1926 in Berlin, it is unique as the international leading trade fair for food, agriculture and horticulture. Exhibitors from all over the world present an extensive product range over ten event days.
