Now lit: the new crowns & lettering for Königstraße in Krefeld

Replacement of the two existing illuminated signs, which are mounted at the respective approaches to Königstraße – Krefeld’s covered shopping street. Unlike the previous installations, the new advertising installations were to be lit by LED.

The challenge lay mainly in the organisational process:

To be able to hang the installations, Königstraße had to be closed for a while. For that we drew up a traffic management plan.

There was also the requirement to fit the new installations to the millimetre onto the existing substructures of the old installations.

The ISG - Lebendige Innenstadt Krefeld e. V. works to beautify Krefeld city centre. For this, projects are carried out that invite people to linger and make the street more attractive for pedestrians. These include, among other things, benches and planted islands where people can linger.
