Privacy settings

Here you choose separately about statistics, embedded media, form protection and the available enquiry features. Optional services are enabled only for the purpose allowed in each case.

Without form protection you can still reach us by email or phone. Google Ads website actions need an additional, separate consent. The extra choice “Send quote status to Google” allows ad identifiers, hashed contact details and the first confirmed quote status for new form and email enquiries to be sent to Google Ads through a private Google spreadsheet. Publishing to that spreadsheet is already a transfer to Google. This choice is separate from enquiry matching, website actions and call purposes. Without your additional confirmation, no quote-status records are sent.

For new form and email enquiries you can separately allow the quote status to be sent. Call imports stay off.

Project

Veedol pin-up girls – Veedol

Life-size Veedol pin-up girls – Veedol Deutschland GmbH

The project:

The heritage oil brand Veedol has stood for exceptional quality, high expertise, reliability and a focus on service ever since it was founded in 1913.

Classic fans think very highly of the brand and above all collect new and old advertising materials such as advertising signs, illuminated advertisements and banners. The classic line with the well-known figure skater is especially sought after among collectors.

We had the great honour of bringing these classics back to life and were commissioned with the series production of life-size Veedol Pin Up Girls as front-lit signs. The large version measures a proud 1.7 metres & the smaller version 1.15 metres in height.

Details:

On this project our new letter bender (bending machine) was also used, which let us bend the metal returns into shape fully automatically. Afterwards the Plexiglas front was laminated with translucent film, and the return including the back was painted in RAL & fitted with high-power LED modules.

Typical of profile 5, a colour-matched PVC edge band was glued on at the end, picking up the vintage look and reinforcing it further.

These strictly limited, numbered pieces are now waiting for their admirers. A great project that let quite a few of us revel in old memories.
