Zentis: sustainable reception design with a strong brand.
BlaueErdbeere was entrusted with the redesign of the reception hall at the Zentis site in Aachen.
Reception design is one of the most important elements of corporate planning, because there is no second chance for a first impression.
The foyer is a company’s representative showpiece. The Zentis project shows clearly how, with little effort and little money, a white wall can become a CI-compliant and sustainable design element of brand communication.
The
The three-part wall design consists of two illuminated Alustar fabric elements on the left and right which, thanks to the built-in dimmer, contribute ideally to lighting the room. The biggest advantage of the Alustars is their sustainability, because the UV direct prints on Samba can be replaced at any time.
The central design element is the moss wall in the middle. In construction, the moss was set piece by piece, with care, into the fabricated tray, 100 mm deep. Real ball moss of the highest quality was used, treated all the way through and therefore very long-lasting and not easily flammable. Through the use of colour pigments in the preservation process, our moss keeps its colour for a long time.
And one thing definitely must not be missing from any company entrance hall: the brand logo. The Zentis brand logo was therefore placed in the centre of the moss wall as a flat aluminium illuminated panel.
As a technology-oriented, globally active family business, Zentis has specialised since 1893 in the processing and refining of fruit and other natural raw materials. With six production sites in Germany, Poland, Hungary and the USA and over 2000 employees, Zentis is today active in over 50 countries.
Since 1917, Zentis has had its headquarters on Jülicher Straße in Aachen. Here Zentis steadily grew into an international pioneer of natural, enjoyable food. In 1995, the second Zentis plant opened in Aachen-Eilendorf.
“We are pleased with the upgraded reception hall, which represents our products themselves and also our brand logo in an appealing way. With very little effort we can keep redesigning the wall with new mood motifs” emphasises Jürgen Born – Head of Department for Construction, Safety and the Environment.
