The MAXMO pharmacy in Würselen shines with classic signage and digital shopfitting

The task was clear: an effective static as well as digital shop design was to be created. Raising sales through the right store design, that is the job of signage. At MAXMO Apotheke we got to show how a large number of cleverly chosen signage elements make a sales floor shine splendidly.

The pandemic set customer communication in pharmacies a new challenge. Alongside the product range, the constantly changing pandemic rules, new services such as test offers, vaccination certificates and, going forward, the vaccinations themselves also have to be communicated day by day and in a clearly visible way. Especially for this purpose, the MAXMO pharmacy installed an LED video wall at the new site in Würselen that, in an attention-grabbing way and updated each day, handles the communication of opening hours, new products, advertising and also pandemic services.

The classic signage carried out by BlaueErdbeere includes floor and window vinyl, two lit signs outside, modular lit textile frames, and shelf lettering on Plexiglas. With this LED shop-window solution, MAXMO shows how digital, innovative customer communication can work in pharmacies. MAXMO stands for fast and direct help, and the new store concept reflects that too. Once the training is complete, the digital signage software supplied is operated independently, flexibly and quickly.

A large illuminated cube on the pharmacy roof, and the two illuminated advertising installations delivered for the facade, give good visibility and recognition even from a long way off.

The LED video wall installed on the shop-window side had to be approved because of the building regulations from the building authority. Here too BlaueErdbeere was able to help without fuss and obtain the permit needed. A 6.6 pixel pitch was installed, which allows ideal readability from the street.

The MAXMO pharmacy in Würselen is one of a total of 27 owner-run pharmacies of the MAXMO group.
