New interior design with Alu-Star tension frames – Messer Group GmbH

The largest privately run industrial-gas manufacturer, Messer, opened its competence centre in Krefeld on 6 June 2018. It is used to test technologies for the application of gases in the fields of food, industrial cryogenic applications, cutting and welding, as well as chemistry and the environment.

We had the great pleasure of advising Messer on their project in signage terms and, in the end, of fitting them out too. At the opening celebration we also provided the right eye-catchers.

For the entire competence centre we produced lit and unlit ALU-Star textile tension frame systems. Two textile tension frames, lit on both sides and over five metres long, were installed as a ceiling-hung element and fitted with corresponding motifs for the respective industries. Four further ALU-Star 100 LED frames between three and five metres long were also produced and installed by us.

The combination of photorealistic industrial motifs and the built-in high-power LEDs creates a unique play of light and shadow, in which the motifs come across as especially lively and draw every eye.

For the big opening event we supplied a two-metre by three-metre LED video wall with 3.9 mm pixel pitch and the ALU-Star digital signage display with a 55-inch Phillips D-Line professional display, fitted with the corresponding textile fabrics, to Messer from our own company.

A great large-scale project is thus drawing to a close, one in which we were able to show many facets of our complex product portfolio, both analogue and digital.

We look forward to further exciting projects with Messer and congratulate them on the successful opening!
